Purpose:
Holy Child and St. Martin’s Health and Wellness Ministry seeks to provide volunteer services, support and education in order to empower our members as well as any residents of the community surrounding HCSM. Our volunteer health care providers and trainers are licensed to operate in the State of California as Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants and health administrators.
Free Services and Assistance Provided:
- Weekly Blood Pressure, heart rate, lungs and weight Monitoring
- Nutrition and exercises program
- Understanding Health Status
- Understanding Prescriptions and Medications
- Educational Presentations (Guest Speakers)
- Health Seminars, workshops and Training
- Health Focus Pamphlets and Brochures
- Scheduled health walks
Volunteers:
Our trained volunteers recognize the sovereignty of God as the source of all healing; recognize the whole person that God intended us to be: mind, body and spirit; recognize an individual’s limits and boundaries. Our trained volunteers are compassionate, sensitive, supportive and listens without judgment.
Hours of Operations:
Mondays from 7:00 am to 10 am, and Sundays from 9 am to 2 pm
